Joining Homesite’s life insurance team, I was tasked with iterating updates to the existing product and took it upon myself to improve the experience wherever possible. Altering an active product is always a tricky task akin to changing the wheels on a car that’s already on the road. Slow and small changes had to be made at certain intervals. However, some situations allowed for more extensive changes. When additional life insurance products were introduced, we were able to make more extensive changes to the front and quote/product pages.
